Registration and paperwork

Procedures change, and they differ with your situation and your nationality. What follows is a general pointer, nothing more; the authority itself is the reference, and you should ask it before taking any step.

Worth knowing

If one party is a non-Omani from outside the Gulf Cooperation Council, the document is not drawn up before the written approval of the Ministry of Interior.
The marriage is entered in the civil register within the prescribed period; ask about your own case if you are a non-Omani resident.
