1. Who we are
Mizan is an online marriage platform operated by the Mizan marriage agency. By using the platform you accept these terms.
2. Who may register
Registration is open to people aged eighteen or over who are looking for marriage and are not already bound by a marriage that prevents it. One account per person.
3. How you behave here
- Describe yourself truthfully and never impersonate anyone.
- Post nothing abusive, sexual or inciting.
- Never ask members for money, and never send commercial links.
- Do not take another member's details off the platform without their consent.
Breaking this closes the account, with no refund for the remaining part of a paid period.
4. Plans and payment
The free account is permanent. Paid plans renew automatically until you switch renewal off in settings, and we email you before every renewal. Prices are set out on the plans page.
5. Refunds
You can request a full refund within the window stated on the plans page. After that, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for; we do not refund a period already used.
6. What we do not guarantee
We work hard at reviewing profiles and reports, but we cannot guarantee any member's intentions or the truth of everything they write. The decision to meet or marry is yours. We encourage you to involve your family and to verify what you are told before any serious step.
7. Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless a safety concern prevents it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. We will email you before any material change takes effect, and you remain free to end your subscription at that point.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, where the parent agency is established. Consumer disputes remain subject to the rules of your country of residence where its law so provides.
