Rules of conduct

These pages have been reviewed by no lawyer. They describe faithfully what the service does today, and on that point they bind Mizan. A legal review remains necessary before any commercial opening, and is recorded as such in the project's follow-up.

What this service is, and what it is not

Mizan guides towards marriage, and towards nothing else. We offer no friendship, no casual meeting, and no relationship outside that framework.

We do not guarantee that a marriage will come about, and no one can. What we provide is an orderly framework between serious people: a file that is studied, an introduction made with the agreement of both sides, and one person who follows the file.

Five rules

Deliberately few. A list of thirty prohibitions goes unread, and is sidestepped by omission.

  1. You come with the intention of marriage. A conversation opens after an accepted approach — to move toward meeting, not to settle in. This is not a place for chatter or casual dating.
  2. You are who you say you are. Taking on an identity that is not yours, or lying about an existing marital situation, means the account is removed.
  3. A refusal is accepted. No answer is an answer.
  4. No money is asked for. No money changing hands, no investment promise, no help with a trip or a visa. That is the most common scam on services of this kind.
  5. What was written in private stays private. A marriage request is an intimate document.

What is forbidden, and what follows

BehaviourConsequence
ImpersonationProfile removed at once, account closed
Asking for money, fraudImmediate removal, evidence kept for a complaint
Harassment after a refusal or a blockProfile removed, account closed
Sexual, violent or degrading contentRemoval, a warning, then closure if it happens again
Contacting a minorImmediate closure and report to the authorities
Incomplete or fanciful fileThe agency does not introduce it; it remains editable

Report

You report from the profile card, in your space. Six grounds: fake profile, harassment, attempted scam, improper content, identity theft, other.

Reports are capped at ten per hour per person: mass reporting is itself a way to harass.

Any report naming a minor or a physical threat comes before all others, without waiting its turn.

These times are design commitments, not measurements. No real report has been handled: the service is not open. And no one yet holds the moderation role — that is the last lock before opening.

What protects you with no one stepping in

A limit that no longer exists

This page previously stated a limit: someone close to you could create an account and read the published profiles. That risk no longer exists. There are no more profiles to read, no page to view them, and no search: your file is read only by the agency.

We leave it written rather than erase it, because a guarantee that replaces an admission should be visible. What we can promise today: nothing is public, nothing is presented without your consent, and withdrawal is immediate.
