Your plan, and who shares it
Reading…
What you declared, what fits it, and who has written to you. None of it is public.

We send a link valid for one hour to this address. It works once. Out of discretion, this page answers the same whether the address exists or not.

Confirm your address
We have written to you. Open the message and follow the link: it checks that this address is indeed yours. Without it, the agency cannot reach you about your file.
The support requires an identity check that is not yet open. Your file is saved and belongs to you. It is shown to no one: the agency alone reads it, and it never introduces anyone without agreement from both sides. You will be told when this step opens.
While paused, your file stays yours and nothing is erased: the agency simply stops searching and will introduce no one to you. You resume whenever you like, without rewriting anything.
Verify your identity
Have your identity verified
A verified identity is what we can present with the most weight. It is not compulsory, and it requires two images: a photo of you taken now, and the identity document you present.
Neither one is kept. Someone on the team compares them, then they are erased: as soon as the decision is made, and at the latest two hours after sending. We keep only the result.

My profile
What you are
This information describes your situation. It never mixes with your preferences, which describe what you are looking for.
Reciprocal: you only see people who are also looking for you. It is not a criterion to tick — it never appears among the reasons for a refusal.
It sets which cities you are offered, and where your search starts.
Only the city is visible. Not your neighbourhood, not your address.
Separate from where you live. Some make it a criterion, others pay it no attention.
Optional. What you do, in a few words.
On the international ISCED scale: “a 2:1” means nothing outside Britain.
The entry form does not ask for it. Here it serves one purpose: so that those to whom it matters can make it a criterion, and the others can ignore it. Sensitive data under the GDPR: it is stored only if you tick the box below, and you can withdraw it at any time by choosing “Prefer not to say”.
Photos
Your file photos
Optional, four at most. They are never published and no other member sees them: only the agency opens them, to recognise your file. You may remove one at any time.
Preferences
What you are looking for
A required criterion rules out the profiles that do not meet it — both ways: those who would rule you out do not appear either. A preferred criterion only ranks. With no preference, nothing is filtered.
Your file
The agency handles it
You do not search, and nobody writes to you: Mizan is a marriage agency. Your file is studied by the agency, and nothing leaves it without your agreement.
Profiles
Search for a compatible plan
The search uses the preferences saved above. Change them to change what you are shown.
Nobody matches what you asked for. The agency will not widen your criteria on your behalf, and will invent no file to fill the gap.

Steering
What the agency knows about itself, on one screen. Counts and curves: no person appears here, the named list has its own page and every opening leaves a trace there.

State of the service
An agency reads the files entrusted to it: that is its work, and this screen does it. Every named reading is written to the journal, and nothing that was entrusted — presentation text, preferences, conversations — appears in a list.
Who registers
A service that introduces people to one another cannot work without knowing whether both sides exist.
From registration to introduction
Five states, one after another. These are counts on real files, not rates: a rate reads better next to the two numbers it comes from.
Where the form loses people
Distinct visitors per registration screen. Detail older than thirty days is erased: this count covers only the recent period.
Audience
First-party measurement: no external service, no measurement cookie. The same visitor counts at most once a day — the salt used to recognise them changes every day, and nothing links a visit to an account. « Visites-jour » is not « unique visitors »: the same person coming back on another day, or switching from phone to computer, counts several times.
Appoint someone to moderation
The role used to be set straight in the database. It is set here now, and every change leaves a trace in the log. The address asked for is one you already know: none is displayed on this screen.

Emails
Identities to verify
Each request carries two images: a photo taken on the spot, and the identity document presented. Compare the face, then the first name and the age declared. The images are not kept: they disappear as soon as you decide, and at the latest two hours after they were sent.
Reports to review
A report upheld immediately suspends that account: the profile leaves search, and no new contact, no message in a conversation and no acceptance are possible any more. Declining, withdrawing and reporting remain possible. A report not upheld leaves no trace on the person reported.
Your password
Change it
You must know the old one: a session left open on a device must not be enough to take over the account.
All your sessions will close, this one included: you will sign in again with the new password.
People you have blocked
Who you no longer see
A block works both ways and stays silent: you no longer see each other, in both directions, and the person is not told.
You can lift it whenever you want. Lifting a block does not give back the withdrawn requests: you will see each other again in search, the rest is asked again.
Your data
What Mizan keeps about you
You can export your data and delete your account. Deletion erases your profile, your preferences, your requests and the messages inside them, and closes your sessions — immediately.
Three things remain: the log of actions, stripped of your identity; the reports filed about you; the blocks you placed, because they protect someone else.
Pause your file?
Your file leaves the agency’s searches and the emails stop. Nothing is erased: your profile, your requests and your messages stay as they are, and you resume whenever you want.
Permanently delete your account?
Your profile, your preferences, your requests and the messages inside them will be erased, and your sessions closed. This cannot be undone.
